How to Create/Reset PIN for Ricoh MFD

Creating or resetting your PIN for a Ricoh Multi-Function Device (MFD) is a simple process. Follow these steps to manage your PIN using the provided web portal.

Note: This guide assumes you have the necessary login credentials.

Instructions

1. Access the Portal:

   • Open a web browser and go to either of the following URLs:
     • https://papercut.daytonastate.edu/
     • https://falconprint.daytonastate.edu

2. Sign In:

   • Use the following login credentials:
     • Username: Your firstname_lastname@daytonastate.edu
     • Password: Your network or PeopleSoft password

3. Navigate to Change Details:

   • After successfully logging in, locate the "Change Details" option on the left side of the web portal. Click on it to access your account settings.

4. Change Card/ID PIN:

   • Within the "Change Details" section, you will find the "Change Card/ID PIN" option. Select it.

5. Set a New PIN:

   • You will now have the opportunity to create a new PIN. Enter your desired PIN in the provided field.

6. Apply the Changes:

   • Once you've entered your new PIN, click on the "Change PIN" or equivalent button to confirm the change.

7. Testing Your New PIN:

   • After successfully changing your PIN, you should attempt to use the new PIN at a Ricoh MFD to ensure it works as expected.

Your Ricoh MFD PIN has now been created or reset. It's important to keep your PIN confidential and secure, as it grants you access to various functionalities on the Ricoh MFD.
