Casting Your Screen From a Mac

AirPlay lets you use a Wi-Fi connection to wirelessly stream music, videos, photos, and more from your Mac, iPhone, or iPad to our ScreenBeam receivers, certain speakers (such as HomePods), an Apple TV or certain smart TVs, or even another Mac (running macOS 12+).

Instructions

  1. Make sure your Mac is connected to DSC_Wireless, or the special access point name provided by the ScreenBeam receiver (if applicable).

  2. Click Control Center in the menu bar, click the Screen Mirroring icon, then choose the Screenbeam or Apple TV in the room.

  3. If asked, enter a four-digit code on your Mac.

  4. To set whether your desktop mirrors or extends your Mac screen, click the Screen Mirroring icon, then choose Mirror Built-in Display or Use As Separate Display.
