CardExchange User Guide
Below are instructions to use the CardExchange ID card printing software. You will be able to:
1. Open Card Exchange and look up a Student, Employee, etc.

2. Identify and select the proper template and ID Card.

3. Update or add a picture if needed.

4. Print the ID card.

Open Card Exchange and Look up a Person
1. Open CardExchange by double clicking the CardExchange icon on the desktop.

2. Look up a user record by entering their ID number in the search bar and then clicking on the person when found.

Identify and Select the Proper Template
1. Select the corresponding card template that you would like to use from the cards section on the left.a.In the cards section, there is a drop-down menu to select templates for Students, Employees etc. There are also 3 templates for each Student, Employee, Student Employee etc.

2. Be sure to use the correct card template for each physical card type.

Use the template that ends in “Mifare Evolis” as this template will encode the Mifare data chip in the card.  This template is also the only template that prints a green “M” on the bottom

right on the back of the card so that you can verify it when card is printed.

Update or Add a Picture if Needed
1.Pull up the person that needs a new or updated picture. 

2.Click on the Photos tab up top. 

3.Click Capture. 

4.Edit the photo if needed. 

5.Click OK.

Print the ID Card

1. Select the print tab, double check the correct Student or Employee and template are selected.

2. Click “Print Card”.

3. Click OK.

4. The card is not printing and will come out of the back side of the printer when completed.
