Honorlock

Review this article on how to use Honorlock with a quiz that is in Falcon Online.
Students should access the exam directly from the Quizzes link in the course navigation bar. Once the exam is opened, Honorlock will automatically launch, guide students through the verification process, and autofill the exam password.
Reminder: You must use the Chrome browser on a laptop computer, iPads are not supported.
If you see "Password Required" field for the quiz, it means you have not installed the required Chrome browser extension; once the extension is installed, the password requirement will disappear.

Troubleshooting

Honorlock Chrome Extension Won’t Enable:
This issue is often caused by conflicting remote proctoring extensions like Proctorio or ProctorU. To resolve it, disable or remove those extensions and perform a clean re-installation of the Honorlock Chrome extension.

Honorlock and Respondus Conflict in Falcon Online Quizzes:
When switching from Respondus to Honorlock, a quiz may still retain Respondus settings, prompting students to use both tools and blocking access. To fix this, go to Quizzes and select the Respondus LockDown Browser dashboard, select“Fix It” on the affected quiz, and select “Don’t require Respondus LockDown Browser.”
Students can launch Honorlock directly from the quiz page, where it will guide them through verification and autofill the exam password.
