How to Approve in a Ticket

This article is to show how to approve a step in a ticket. 

 

Instructions

Any ticket that is needing a Supervisor Approval will send an email to that individual with a link to approve/reject. The link appears at the bottom of the dialog box and can sometimes be missed. 

 

If you happen to miss this email, you can still approve the message by following the steps below:

1. Launch the Daytona State College Service Portal (there is a shortcut on your desktop)

2. Log into the Service Portal with your credentials

3. Select 'My Ticket Requests' on the homepage. This is a large blue button.

 

4. In the grey ribbon at the top, select 'My Approvals'

 

5. Select the Step in the same row as the ticket that you are looking to approve

 

6. You can now select 'Approve' or 'Reject' for the service ticket
