Instructions

The first time you log in, you may be prompted to enroll in our required Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). This article will illustrate that process and guide you through completion. It will be easiest if you begin this process on a desktop, laptop, or any device other than your cell phone, because you will need to scan a QR code with your cell phone, from that device. The below will provide the steps for enrollment. For a more complete explanation, please view the attached PDF.

You will first be prompted to register with the following pop-up which will say "More information required"

You will then be prompted to use the free Microsoft Authenticator app as your first of two methods

Follow the instructions on the prompt by downloading and installing the app on your smart device. Then click next until you see the QR code

Look for the option on your app that says "Scan QR Code". You may need to "Add Work or School Account" in the app first. After scanning the code "Next". You will then be prompted to try it out

You MUST complete this step in order to successfully sync the app on your phone to your Daytona State College account.

You have now successfully synced the app! Next you will be prompted to add your cell phone number

You will receive a text message. Enter the code in the message you received

Press "Next, then press "Done".

Congratulations! You have successfully enrolled in our multi-factor authentication system! Your account is now secure.
